The client I’m recruiting for specialises in the design, supply, and installation of heating controls and systems and building management systems (BMS).
They have over 15 years of experience in providing clever heating control and building management systems within a wide variety of buildings, from schools and county council buildings to churches and historic buildings.
What am I looking for:
I am looking for a BEMS project engineer that has experience using multiple BMS systems (Working knowledge of Trend & Siemens / Trend & Tridium preferred). You will have had a number of years working in the BMS industry, a positive attitude and above all else – a good client-facing approach.
The role will require you to work within the South UK with sites in Cambridge / Guildford / Leatherhead / Dorset / Southampton with occasional travel further afield. You will have a regional office which will provide a central hub of support.
What the role requires:
The role of BEMS project engineer will require you to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis
- Commissioning of the BEMS system
- Witness testing
- Graphics generation
- Generating software strategy
- Liaising with the client and building a strong working relationship
- Project management
- Identifying additional works/upgrades
- Report writing
