What am I looking for:
My client has a vacancy for a BMS Project Sales professional in their projects team in Scotland who will be responsible for promoting the client’s projects business in new and pre-existing buildings in accordance with pre-set sales targets and in line with the company’s regional strategies.
Your success will be based on your ability to forge strong working relationships with building contractors, consultants and end-users who will have the confidence to deliver controls installation that meets all of their financial and operational requirements.
The ideal candidates should have a strong technical background in the BMS industry and be able to demonstrate the qualities required to generate a pipeline of business at a profitable margin. Even without actual sales experience, evidence of drive, determination to succeed and being able to keep to promises in a competitive work environment are the pre-requisites of being able to fulfil this particular role.
The role will require you to work within Scotland with occasional travel further afield. You will have a regional office which will provide a central hub of support.
What the role requires:
The role of BEMS Project Sales will require you to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis
- Meeting with end-user clients to unearth their need and build relationships throughout the organisation
- Site surveys
- Input and output points lists
- Pull together the estimate from the points list
- Work with the Project team on sales handover
- Act as a client liaison throughout the process

- 35k-55k basic salary
