Job Description

Production Manager / £30,000 - £35,000k + / Northern Home Counties

Are you experienced working in a high paced manufacturing environment, overseeing the production of a wide range of products and working with a close knit team? If so, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

You will be working with a well established, high quality British manufacturer of Lighting and Luminaires based in the Northern Home Counties. This is an excellent business with a reputation not just for the quality products that they produce, but for also being a forward thinking, innovative business which supports and invests in the people who work for them.

Due to the business' continued growth and success, they have been expanding on all fronts across the business and are now looking to bring in a strong production manager to ensure that their manufacturing processes run smoothly and can also continue to improve and adapt.

This is a role where you will be trusted with a lot of responsibility, running and managing the current production team and with the power to implement processes and procedures to improve the business. If you have ever found yourself in the position of identifying an area of improvement within your current role, and been frustrated at the lack of ability to change it - this is your opportunity to make those changes and have the business running as you see fit!

You will be managing a team of 10 production engineers, and liaising with different departments within the business (sales, procurement, design) - estimating how long projects will take to be made, and setting deadlines for your team to fulfill that. You will be leading from the front, getting involved in the production itself as well as monitoring your team's performance, and creating production plans on Excel.

Experience with production of Lighting and Luminaires would be a bonus, but any candidates with experience in production management from any industry are open to apply also.

This is an exciting role, so if you are experienced in these areas, with the confidence and ambition for leadership and want to work in a company where you will be valued and driven to succeed - this is the job for you!
