Job Description

UPS Install/Service and Maintenance Engineer - Nationwide - £30,000 - £34,000

I am currently working on an exciting new role with a key client. They are a well established UPS company looking to expand their London team. Already turning over 2 million pounds, and this company has an established name in the market. They have a genuine focus on bringing in the right engineer, who has the attitudes and behaviours, and in return can offer an excellent training program.

What am I looking for:

I am looking for a dynamic individual who is looking to further their career. The main thing my client is looking for in their new hire is the right attitude, willingness to learn systems and someone they can see a long-term career with. A focus on working on UPS systems is highly beneficial.

This role will require you to work on sites in the Greater London area, in and around the M25. The role will also require national travel. You will be required to drive site to site and complete the day-to-day tasks. The role will be a hybrid between install and UPS service and maintenance.

What the role requires:

The role of the Install/Service Engineer will require you to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis:

  • Routine service and maintenance checks
  • Fault findings and Diagnostics
  • Larger projects will be slowly introduced with more experience
  • Working on Riello, APC and Delta
  • Integration and Software modifications

What you can expect back:

The feedback I've gotten back from engineers that I have placed with my client is that it's a company to grow a future with. This role will excel your BMS career, leading to great career progression. They will offer excellent training on both Trend and Cylon, and in the future there will be progression to become a multi systems engineer.

Across the business this will be fully supported and all training will be provided.

  • Basic salary of £30,000-£34,000 (Depending on Experience)
  • Company Car or Car allowance
  • Company Pension
  • All expenses covered
  • Excellent overtime available
  • Personal development plan and progression into senior roles
