Job Description

I am recruiting on behalf of a key client of mine who are a Global Manufacturer continuously expanding across their various divisions in the UK. This has come through winning numerous off of the back of completing previous projects to an extremely high standard.

They are looking for

They are looking for an experienced Service / Commissioning Engineer you will be from a BMS Controls background working on any system. You will need a proven background and currently working in the industry as either a BMS Service Engineer or BMS Commissioning Engineer.

Location & Territory:

This role will require you to cover the North of the UK mainly focusing in the Northwest. This role will require you to cover the whole of the north, travelling down to Stoke and across to Derby then up to the Scottish borders. Staying away overnight for 1-2 nights a week is a possibility and will only be required at most twice a month.

What the role requires?

The role of Service / Commissioning Engineer will require you to undertake on a daily basis the following responsibilities.

  • Service & Maintenance / Commissioning
  • PPM & Breakdowns
  • Fault finding & Diagnosing
  • Points list
  • Upgrades & replacements of equipment
  • Writing of software and programming
  • Calibration of sensors & Valve actuators
  • Liaising with clients & Site managers
