I am working with a key client whose company is rapidly growing; their turnover doubled last year and they are looking to expand offices. It is a dynamic SME on the front end of the industry with 20 fulltime employees. The business has a slightly different proposition and wants to be selling BMS maintenance contracts on the back of energy savings they deliver. They have unique market offerings and are looking for self-motivated, commercially aware individuals with a will-do attitude to help grow the business. They are going from strength to strength and pride themselves in being a great place to work with a strong team ethic.
What I am looking for:
I am looking for a Business Development Manager who has excellent customer facing skills, is willing to go the extra mile, and has a taste for new business and a grasp of nurturing existing business. You will be from a sales background preferably with of systems like Trend and Tridium.
This role will require you to work predominantly within London and the Southeast, with occasional travel to the Midlands. You will be home based.
What the role requires:
The role of Business Development Manager will require to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis:
- To be able to run with clients they have won
- To be an out-and-out sales individual
- To focus on securing maintenance contracts
- To sell into End Users
