Junior Sales Executive / South East Home Counties / £22,000 - £26,000 / + Bonuses
We are looking for a Junior Sales Executive, to work for an excellent Lighting Manufacturing and Consultancy company based in the South East.
You will be part of a positive, creative, forward thinking company with a strong and supportive team environment, and which has been going through massive growth over the past few years and with solid plans for this to continue. The design ethos focuses on creating high quality, unique, and beautiful light fittings that can be used to create exciting spaces. Due to this success, the company has been recruiting on many levels and is now looking for a dynamic person who is looking to build their career!
You will be initially based in the office as part of the internal sales teams, dealing with customers and clients over the phone. This involves taking incoming calls and emails, following up on projects and completing quotations. As well as providing excellent customer service at all levels, you will be learning about the excellent range of decorative architectural lighting that the business provides, and be fully trained to answer any questions you may need to answer! You will be working proactively, finding new clients to contact, and keeping in touch with them regularly to build relationships and show them the value of your excellent product range.
After your initial training period, you will then progress to working alongside the external sales team, going out on the road across London and the South East to meet with customers and clients. At first this will involve sitting in with your more senior team members, learning about the structure of face to face sales working with Architects, Interior Designers, and Consultants, before then working fully independently working with your own clients and contacts, planning your time and meetings yourself.
This is a hugely exciting role for someone with an interest in Sales, with an understanding for design and working with design focused people. A role like this will quickly take someone from an inexperienced graduate level, to a highly valued person within the industry!
The role will involve working on exciting, dynamic projects for high end restaurants and hotels being won by the external sales team, and designed by the in house design team. Your role both on the phone and on the road is vital in ensuring that the sales people can win these projects in the early stages, get samples sent out to the client, and finding new and exciting leads for the business to pursue!
