Job Description

We are looking for a Lighting Designer for an exciting role based in the North. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody, who is looking to be part of a great team and work in an environment where they can develop their long term career in the industry.   You will be part of a positive, creative, forward thinking company with a strong and supportive team ethos, and which has been going through massive growth over the past few years and with solid plans for this to continue.

Due to this success, the company has been recruiting on many levels, and is now looking for a Lighting Designer to join the team.

The role will involve working on exciting, dynamic projects for retail, commercial office blocks, NHS and education. Working with both well-known and independent companies to create atmospheric and feature lighting for the space. You will be working within a close knit team of designers from mixed levels of experience, creating lighting design schematics and calculations, working on projects from start to finish and project managing both yourself and helping to oversee juniors within the team.

Applying candidates must have basic understanding of Relux or Dilux and CAD. Experience working with hospitality projects is a bonus, but alternative experience with other creative projects such as Architectural, Retail, or others are also encouraged to apply! You should have a passion for working on varied and creative projects, and a confident and positive personality. It is important that you can work well not only with the other members within your team, but when dealing with clients in presenting your projects and maintaining those relationships.
