Project Manager / Central London / £20,000 - £50,000 / International Travel
This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a Project Manager within the Lighting industry, who is looking to work on expensive, high end, architectural projects, and work on projects around the world.
You will be working with an established, high quality Lighting consultancy operating within Central London, working on projects both in the UK and Internationally. These projects will cover a wide variety of areas such as Heritage buildings (Churches, Museums), Hospitality (Hotels) and high end Retail (stores and shopping centers), with the main focus being on extremely high end residential homes up to and including Luxury Palaces in the Middle East. These can be a mixture of small scale, and incredibly large scale - working with the highest quality of materials, products, design, and craftsmanship, so it is absolutely essential that you have an eye for detail as mistakes cannot afford to be made. Working on these projects will allow you to travel the world in order to meet with these clients, and to survey the space you will be looking to design.
In your role you will be managing these exciting projects from beginning to completion, making sure that deadlines are met and all elements of the project are running smoothly. This will involve drawings and checking of CAD work, mapping out sites, specifying the lighting, as well as using and programming Lighting Controls systems such as Dahli and Lutron. Previous experience with these or other lighting controls systems are a benefit - but full training will be provided for both CAD and the various controls systems for a candidate who needs it.
This is an ideal role for someone experienced within the lighting industry, working on high value projects, where they have been overseeing and managing projects independently, either as a Project Manager, Lighting Designer, or a Sales role. A passion for quality products and projects is a must, and an understanding of technical documents and information regarding large scale projects.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity, in a friendly, professional environment, working with a small close knit team. You will be given full support and training if needed, and get to work on incredible large scale high end projects. This role will be challenging, but incredibly rewarding both in terms of pay and being able to travel the world! As the team continues to grow, there will be plenty of opportunity to build and run your own team with plenty of room for progression at any level.
