BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer

Basic Salary £45K-£50K

I am working on another excellent role where I am looking to recruit with the largest BMS controls company in the country.  After an influx of contracts and associated projects, they are looking to strengthen their South West team.  This person will see themselves as gritty, with a can do attitude team who will go the extra mile to get the job done, every time.

I am looking for a dynamic BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer who has a desire to learn, a great aptitude for problem solving and excellent communication skills who is competent with Trend, RDM or Siemens PX. You will be from a BMS background with strong HVAC plant knowledge and electrical qualifications

Location & Territory:

This role will require you to cover the South West mainly in the Devon/Somerset are between Exeter and Taunton with occasional travel up to the Bristol area. You will be required to work on commercial buildings, banks, pharmaceutical labs, schools and universities in the area.  You will be home based and fully mobile.

What the role requires: 

The role of BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer will require you to undertake the following responsibilities on a day-to-day basis

• Pre planned maintenance
• Reactive Breakdowns 
• Small Project Works
• Software modifications
• Graphic page modification and generation
• Pre-commissioning, Point to point testing
• Commissioning on upgrade projects up to £500K in value

What you can expect back:

• Basic salary £45,000k - £50,000
• Travel time paid at normal rate
• Overtime – averaging around £5 -£10k per annum
  • X1.5 weekdays and X2 on Sundays
• Call out Rota 1 in 8 - £275 for each week and a minimum of 4 hours paid at x1.5 per call out
• Car allowance of £6,800 pa or Company car
